Sad news

Marble’s bed will be empty today. She died peacefully this morning while being told how much everyone loved her. We guess she was about 14 or so years old. What a trooper. Nearly blind and deaf, she held her own with the other cats, avoided raccoon visitors and wandered the farm in all kinds of weather. However the tumor in her abdomen was too big a battle for her to overcome. Somehow animals keep going and going even though they are very ill. In 24 hours from yesterday to today, she traveled 4 kms! She had lots and lots of Temptations last night and this morning. A gentle cat who had the best purr. She will be with Rosie again.
