History

In 2009, Beth Kent and Lynne Ware stepped in to help 72 cats on a farm. None of the cats had been spayed or neutered so the numbers had exploded to an unmanageable level. Beth and Lynne worked tirelessly to trap and get the adults spayed/neutered and the kittens admitted into rescues.

The shed was put up in 2017 and originally housed 20 cats.

Over the years the colony has shrunk to two cats who are both in their twilight years: Pet and Whitey. Each hase a variety of health issues but is comfortable and happy.
